Grant Writing

Finding funding for a conference, program, project or special event can be a daunting task.  Many Organizations do not have the time or resources necessary for grant writing.  Others do not understand which of the millions of available grants fit their needs.

Achievable Ventures is here to meet your funding needs so you can keep your focus on serving your clients.  Achievable Ventures has access to a national foundation directory with over 100,000 funders that give out over 2 million grants.  Most grant requests are denied because the funders do not have the same interests as the applicant.  We use this directory to find funders with grants that share your interest and target population.

Who We Serve:

To capitalize on available grant opportunities your project or program needs to be part or associated with a 501c(3) non-profit.  Many funding sources ONLY donate to 501c(3) non-profits.

Most of AVC’s experience is with organizations that serve individuals with disabilities, we are able to find funding sources for your area of focus.

The following are organizations/institutions we are not able to raise funds for:

  • Personal businesses, personal causes,  personal scholarships
  • An individual’s debt, medical needs or bills
  • Past events or projects and programs that are not part of or associated with an 501c(3) non-profit organization.
  • Political Campaigns, fraternities and sororities
  • Some religious organizations (Due to limited amount of funding sources)

Grant Process:

  1. Achievable Ventures Consulting (AVC) meets with organization
  2. AVC researches possible grants
  3. If grants are pursued, organization contracts with (AVC) for percentage of the amount rewarded or specified fee.  In some situations a research fee may be requested.  (Contact us for specifics)
  4. AVC writes rough draft of grant application and sends it to organization for approval.
  5. AVC makes adjustments and finalizes grant and sends it to organization.
  6. Organization sends application to grant funder.

When grant(s) is funded, Organization notifies AVC and AVC sends organization an invoice for percentage specified in contract.
